Dear members,
Our next meeting is set for Tuesday, Nov 14th. And it is going to be a good one! We will vote on our awards, elect a new board that will take office Jan 16, 2024, and recognize our new members. After the meeting we will have a whale of a reception…you will not want to miss it!!
Hopefully, you have been recording your hours regularly. The board has been getting printouts…and we are very impressed with the number of hours many of our members have accumulated. We have sent that info on to your project chairs. Remember, Dec. 15th is the deadline to report your hours. ALL STATUS CHANGES IN MEMBERSHIP must be sent to the county office by the Friday before our last board meeting so that they may be approved by the board on Nov. 14th. And because of our policy and budget restrictions, all 2023 expenditures by the projects MUST BE TURNED IN BY DEC. 1st. They cannot and will not be reimbursed in 2024.
In lieu of a meeting in December we will have our holiday luncheon at Chenal Country Club. This year sounds even better than last year! You will need to send your check for $25 into the county office (2901 W Roosevelt Rd LR 72204) by November 30th. Seating is limited to 125 people, so don’t delay.
I know that I’ve given you lots of deadlines, but the end of the year always comes in November and December, yet it still takes me by surprise!!
