Master Gardeners Bloom with Community Spirit!
The Master Gardeners have done it again, showcasing their passion and dedication to beautifying the community and nurturing the environment. Under a picture-perfect sky, this incredible team came together to make a difference.
Leading the charge were North Little Rock’s own legendary “Lifer,” Dick Blankenship, and the kind and steadfast “Second Lifetimer,” Rochelle. Joining them were our fearless Chair, Michele; the ever-amazing volunteer, Ken; the kind and effective Co-Chair, Kay; the tireless Kuganes; the always-ready Bea; and the ever-supportive Pat. A special shoutout goes to our enthusiastic newcomers, Sue and Carol, as well as Sunshine, who is new to our group but already a second-year Master Gardener. And yes, yours truly, Juanita, was right there in the thick of it!
With tools in hand, we dove into the garden beds, tackling several tasks to create a stunning transformation (even if it was temporarily messy!). The gratitude from the center’s members was absolutely heartwarming—they truly appreciated our efforts, even as we pulled weeds, bagged leaves, and stirred up a little dust.
