Today we harvested okra, purple hull peas and quite a few peppers of various varieties.
We also spent a lot of time cleaning up the gardens: removing marigolds and weeding. There is always weeding to be done.
Afterwards, we met in the Extension Office conference room to weigh our harvest. We had coffee and treats (Joellen brought home made Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies that were delicious) and we had a good visit.
