From Randy: Old Mill Meet & Greet, May 12, 2021

Hey Guys,

What a beautiful day to celebrate the Old Mill Garden Project.

I would like to thank the Old Mill Master Gardener Crew and the Social Committee for a Job well done!

The temperature was great for garden strolling and the garden looked fantastic!  It was great seeing people strolling about and checking out all the wonderful variety of plants growing in the garden.

Hey Arline,  you did a wonderful job on the floral centerpiece.  I loved that all the flowers came out of your garden.  I want to know the name of the Pink Peony that you used in the arrangement.  It was so fragrant.

I even learned about a new plant called Fuki (Petasites japonicus).  I love the name.  It is also called Japanese Butterbur.  I thought it was a Ligularia.  I was wrong!  It is always great to learn about a new plant.  I am going to have to get a start for my garden.

ThaLett
